Sallaberry Joins Board of Directors, Assumes Role as Chairman
Sallaberry is a software industry veteran with a career encompassing the build and operational management of Enterprise-class worldwide sales, marketing, technology and consultative services organizations.
Sallaberry's proven track record in generating high growth sales productivity and operational efficiencies is most recently evidenced in his tenure as executive vice president of Field Operations with VERITAS. As a senior executive at VERITAS, Sallaberry defined the strategy and managed customer-facing operations propelling the organization from an emerging start-up to the world's leading provider of enterprise storage management solutions with revenues in excess of $1.5 Billion.
At VERITAS, Sallaberry successfully chartered the evolution of the organization's global distribution leadership through a channel expansion strategy that included direct account management, channel partnerships, e-business readiness, value-add services including consulting and end-user education, and the seamless integration of several mergers and acquisitions, including OpenVision Technologies, Inc. and Seagate.
Sallaberry joined VERITAS through the acquisition of OpenVision, where he was senior vice president. Earlier, Sallaberry had been a senior executive at Oracle Corp.
"DolphinSearch has all the right ingredients for success," said Sallaberry. "The company has superior technology, a world-class team and the potential not only to define their industry, but to extend its value to adjacent markets. I am pleased to be part of the DolphinSearch team, and to have this opportunity to guide them in their focus on market strategy and execution."
