MariaDB has been selected as Database of the Year in the Members’ Choice awards at LinuxQuestions.org for the third year running.
The LinuxQuestions.org forum is the largest Linux user forum online, hosting from 100,000 to a million visitors every month. In a resounding show of support, fans gave MariaDB 45.5% of the vote, more than the next two competitors, MySQL and PostgreS combined, who got 18.7% and 16.7% respectively.
This is our 3rd year in a row receiving this award – MariaDB had also won in 2013 and in 2014.
